Activities at RBR

We have many different activities at ROSE BOWL RIDERS including clinics, shows, playdays, trail rides, barbeques, holiday parties and riding lessons. RBR hosts regular clinics with trainers such as Bill and Kim Ortamond (Natural Horsemanship), and Jenna Wyatt (Dressage) as well as legendary horseman Ray Hunt. Our horse shows are a friendly local "learning experience" for both horse and rider, with top rated judges and great prizes. Our yearly schedule includes three horse shows: one each in Winter, Spring and Summer, as well as our annual Horses in the Arroyo Playday and Gymkhana in June.

We also hold two Work Days and Vaccination Clinics each year, in the Fall and Spring. These are usually held on a Saturday from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. Afterwards we provide a terrific BBQ lunch in the picnic area! These events are a great opportunity to get to know your fellow horse people. Since we are an all-volunteer organization we expect all members, including boarders and trainers, to participate.

Board of Directors

ROSE BOWL RIDERS is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors which meets once a month. Meetings are open to all members; contact us for schedule information. The Board approves new membership applications at each meeting. Board elections are held the first Wednesday in November, when members are asked to come and vote on the new slate.
